Spaghetti sauce on rice. Each a fine component of a meal, but together? Barf! The texture of rice is all wrong, grainy and chewy. Oddly, other tomato sauces like salsa or a tomato based stew are OK, though. ---

Shall I go there? I think I shall - Hot dogs and Ketchup. When the little snows were little, they would mix ketchup and ranch to create “retchup” for dipping (wretch-up). My son likes frozen yogurt, like any kid, but what he does is aweful and I usually have to look away. He will get 2-3 flavors, stuff that does not really belong together, but not unheard-of. He will then add a few toppings, then mix furiously until there is no semblance of order, and just gray slop, with chunks of brownie, sprinkles, and gummy worms. It’s just wrong. ---

I love salted olives. I love blue cheese. I also love olives combined with feta cheese. Therefore, I tried some olives stuffed with blue cheese. Depends on how you make the chili. If the chili is really tomato-y and salty it’s probably pretty good - pizza with brownies or chocolate chip cookies is great! If it’s like…meaty, spicy, gravy chili then I don’t know. ---

Chocolate milk with a tuna sandwich. Seemed like every time they’d surprise us with the ‘treat’ of chocolate milk for lunch at my elementary school, I’d have brought tuna from home that day. Ergh. ---

It’s elementary school, of course there’s chocolate milk. They don’t allow a nice crisp chardonnay. I will go with beverages with food in general (except for wine). I drink water, if anything. ---
