This is very similar to a game my sister and I used to play. We would try to guess the movie from the one sentence description from the TV listings in the newspaper. Here’s an actual one from the paper from back then, to the best of my recollection: A boy wants a BB gun for Christmas. Some I just made up: A spaceship has a problem.
