The other difference in the above list, besides the order of the other three items, is that the ideal man must be intelligent (very important, with 18% of the vote), while the ideal woman should be independent (though not as important, since it only got 8% of the vote). Note, the above was calculated by grouping similar terms (such as smart and intelligent), and it was done assuming the following equivalences ```auto smart => intelligent, witty => intelligent, whimsical => funny, hilarious => funny, compassionate => kind, nice => kind, gentle => kind, good-natured => kind, good soul => kind, caring => kind, capable => competent, sexy => attractive, hot => attractive, beautiful => attractive, handsome => attractive ``` If you have a better set of equivalences, especially if you can group any of the items above that got 1 vote (such as sensitive or mature) into a broader category, let me know and I may run my script on your set. ---

21-year old straight male. A mere whipper-snapper, I know. Anyways: 1. understanding 2. intelligent 3. passionate I just got out of a serious relationship, with a woman who was two out of three; i.e. she was brilliant as hell and blazingly passionate, but she was hardly the understanding type. After a while, I avoided conversations of any depth with her, since my words would invariably be misinterpreted and she’d go on a half-hour crying jag, while I stood back and wondered what the hell I said (and in her defense, I _was_ rather insensitive on many an occasion). However, I’m still only twenty-one, so I have plenty of time to find someone who exemplifies all three. In the meantime, I gotta make sure I’m someone worth being with (at the moment, I do not think I am — too many issues left over from the last relationship, and I have my own bad qualities I have to work out).
