The one that used to always happen to me was, while flipping through the newspaper, and coming upon the obituary notices, seeing

_ **Deaths Everywhere** _,

thinking “Well, yeah… naturally.”, doing a double-take, and realizing it was actually

_ **Deaths Elsewhere** _.

We have it in the US, too, actually.

I misread things so often that I can’t think of any examples off the top of my head.
