Will his ashes stay fresh and crisp?
If it were up to me I’d have had the ashes mixed with epoxy and shaped like pringles. They’d stack nicely and heck, everybody could take one home as a souvenir.

Okay, maybe not.

A little creepy, a little funny.

I read awhile back that Pringle’s chips are made from a liquefied potato slurry that’s dried, reconstituted and pressed into the shape that gets them into the can. And yet I love them!

Huh. I always thought they were genetically engineered into that particular shape.

Hell, why not. You could make up a corpse ash slurry and process it right on the Pringles line.

My wife’s family back in Ukraine is crazy for Pringles.
They’ve got the fever for the flavor…

I wonder what flavor the guy was buried in. BBQ seems most appropriate.

Any truth to the rumor that his wife intends to be buried in a French Onion Dip carton next to him?

And afterwards he’ll melt in your mouth, but not in your hand?

What else? Oreo inventor buried in center plot of communal grave which is three spaces deep? Coca-Cola founder sprayed all over mourner’s hands and shirts? Perrier founder buried at sea? Post-It note inventor still sticking around?

Enjoy,
Steven

You should be warned that BREAD, yes BREAD, is formed of wheat slurry that’s been pressed into the shape of a loaf pan so it fits in the plastic bag.

But that’s the only way to make bread. There are other, more traditional ways of making potato chips.

Yeah, but there’s nothing gross about munching something up and making a dough or other mass out of it, then shaping it. Besides bread, there’s chocolate, sausages, candies, etc. If you remove the “shaping” factor, you’ve got pretty much every sauce there is and most soups.

(Personally I find the taste of traditional potato chips yucky.)
I appear to be one of the minority people who don’t like Pringles. They taste like reconstituted potato (which I’m fairly certain they are) and are wider than my mouth. What point is a packet of chips that you can’t stuff your face with, but rather have to daintily nibble at?
The wife is crazy about them but nibbles. She’s amazed that not only can I pop a whole one into my mouth, I can pop a stack several chips high into my mouth, too.

I like Pringle’s, I really do. But, I hated the commercials where they had kids grabbing a whole stack and biting into them and letting most of it crumble out of their mouths and fall to the ground. Hey, buy Pringles, let half of it fall out of your stupid mouth!

Woo hoo! Found Pringle’s on sale at one of our regular supermarkets today for 49 baht, which is about US$1.23. Bought some memorial Regular and Sour Cream 'n Onion cans in memory of Fredric J Baur, along with some new flavor called Wildspice, to try that. Wildspice is not very spicy, though.
