I just don’t see the appeal or need for a custom vagina. Who the hell set the beauty standard anyhow? 😕 Was there a beauty pageant I missed? Miss Labia Lips 2014? Her gown includes a see thru feature designed to proudly display her perfect labia. Quite popular by TSA agents in all airports. Ah, medical before/after photos. Need I say photos of vaginas are Not Safe For Work? Why? What makes that the beauty standard worth paying 10 or 15k for? :rolleyes: Any sort of vagina alteration seems a bit neurotic and unneeded. Guys will appreciate any vagina they are lucky enough to touch. Guaranteed. 😃 Perhaps after several childbirths a bit of tightening up is desired. That’s not a difficult surgery. But sculpting labia lips? Ah, please save your money. What do others here think? Oh, while we are on the subject. Can we bring back a little pubic hair? Not a lot. A triangle at the top is perfect. Even a landing strip. I have er known natural un altered vaginas that have no visible labia, at least externally. There was once a thread here on some art exhibition that was like a wall of random pictures of pudenda, or external view of female genitals. And someone commented that one looked like she had been female circumcised, because there was nothing visible except a crease in the crotch. But I’ve had up close and personal view of such, in an area where female circ is totally unknown and it looked the same. So I find this idea that extruding labia is the norm kind of odd. ---

I think its an ethnic thing. Darker haired women tend to have thicker pubic hair and protruding labia. I don’t know why, but thats been my experience in real life and vintage porn that I’ve seen. Fair skinned blondes have little pubic hair and very little labia. Don’t know why, but thats what I’ve seen. Scandinavians, Germans of Nordic descent etc. Fair skin is the tip off. I’m more attracted to brunettes and saw quite a few bushes and rooster combs. Girls didn’t shave their bush in 1981. Trimmed yes, never shaved it off. YMMV ---

_(lonely voice crying in the wilderness)_ The term for the female genitals is not “vagina”; it’s “vulva”. The vagina is an internal structure, and I don’t think I could see the result of any cosmetic procedure done on it without a speculuum. To be precise, it’s the labia minora that protrudes and gets sculpted these days. I can’t imagine a doctor modifying the labia majora. There’s not much they could alter. Heres a chart. Actually, one source (and article about this sort of surgery) I’ve seen blamed in Australia is porn, or at least laws about porn. Porn magazines and movies show a certain sort of labia and so that’s what a lot of viewers want. In Australia, in particular, I read that visible inner labia will put a higher restriction on the images (in practice, if not in the letter of the rules), but not living there or being in the industry, I can’t say. Still other articles will say it’s mostly really excessively long inner labia that are operated on it’s about real problems instead of being cosmetic. And sat least one small survey indicated there wasn’t a strong correlation between porn viewing and dissatisfaction with one’s genitals. So, beats me, but there are a couple things I’ve read. ---

I’m almost afraid to ask, but what is a rooster comb? As a straight female I haven’t seen many vulvas in my day. For those who have, are hanging labia minora very common? I would think if they hung too low they’d be a bit uncomfortable and be prone to getting pinched during sex. Or maybe get chafed if you wore pants that were tight in the crotch area. ---
