Sorry, I thought rooster comb was a common term for a certain type of labia. I guess my rural background is showing. 😉 Some labia do have lips with curves like a [rooster](http://www.featurepics.com/FI/Thumb300/20071021/Red-Rooster-Rose-Comb-495435.jpg). That’s really the point. Labia comes in a variety of sizes and shapes. Expecting them to fit somebody’s ideal of beauty is a bit odd. ---

I prefer my ladies vagina the way nature and God intended. Why mess with perfection? Of course I feel the same way about boobs, so maybe I’m not the best judge of this. ---

I dislike these surgeries when they’re done because of insecurities. But I don’t sneer at those women – I dislike the surgeries and the culture that makes them feel so embarrassed and ashamed that they think it’s needed. That “lip[-]less, tight slit” became popular partly because of porn (larger labia minora can “obscure” details in close up shots). But a LOT of guys make really mean and shitty comments about large lips. Laughing at “roast beef curtains”, or slabs of beef. Or that they mean she’s a total slut (because they got stretched out from fucking so many guys). Or that they’re just nasty or gross. Dude you totally missed the point of my OP. I was attacking the stupidity of a culture that objectifies women and holds them to some ridiculous standard. It’s pathetic that we would ever send any women a message that she needs to alter her body to meet some stupid ass ideal of perfection. So pull in your claws. I’m on the same side of this issue as you are. I only mentioned the surgery foir tightening up after childbirth because it is quite common. It makes sex more enjoyable for the lady after she’s had several kids. I think it also helps with incontinence after having kids. But it’s entirely up to her. If she’s happy and satisfied with her life after having kids, then that’s great. I wasn’t suggesting anybody get any surgery for anything. Certainly not to modify their body for some stupid ideal of beauty. ---

In post one you tell women that they shouldn’t have this surgery done because there’s no standard of beauty (but why that should matter, I don’t know). But moreso, I think the issue is that I don’t think you like the post surgery look as much as the pre-surgery look. You mentioned that several times in the OP. In post two, you tell women how they should trim their pubic hair, because a little triangle is what appeals to you. So basically, what women do to their bodies should be up to you and not up to them. You’re awesome! Next up, why don’t you tell them how they should cut their hair and do their makeup in such a way that they look best to you. ---

[You know they’ve done a study on this, right?](http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0002937815005402) Men prefer smaller labia. It’s pretty obvious this is the case when you’ve got slang such as “meat curtains” and “rooster comb” to negatively make fun of large labia. I remember reading a different study sometime that used photographs of labia and at one point it was actually the same woman, same labia, except in one she was not sexually excited (you could barely see them), and in the other she was (they stuck out a little). The men actually preferred the one with less to see regardless. Can’t find it now though. So yeah, considering people have been altering their bodies for emotional reasons since forever, this is no surprise.
