Yup, Susan, after telling Mike the truth, talks him out of going over to Paul’s to wallop the hell out of him, then decides to confront him herself. Paul is having his own troubles because Beth still won’t sleep with him, so he decides to try counseling. The shrink suggests that he court his reluctant bride and give her a chance to develop more physical feelings for him naturally. But after their first “date” he tries to kiss her and she slaps him, after which he tells her to get her she has a week to pack her crap and get out… Meanwhile Juanita is getting jealous of her new “friend” and after they go trick or treating together decides to cut Grace’s hair. Tom and Lynette have to figure out what to do about Tom’s Mom, who is getting increasingly confused,and gets lost going to the store. Bree and Studguy decide they are willing to accept each other, baggage and all, in Studguys’s case, this includes a hottie (female)roommate and being on probation for assault (which almost gets violated at Rene’s Halloween party when a creep won’t leave Bree alone…) Later, Beth, after an emotional conversation with her mother decides to try to make her marriage work and waves a pistol at Susan (who gets fired because Paul blabbed ) when she goes to confront him again, this time armed with a plastic club that is part pf MJ’s Halloween costume… Mike, fed up with Susan’s making a bad situation worse decides to go to Alaska after all… all in all a solid episode. ---

A typically lavish Halloween party was held, of course, and Bob the gay neighbor and Vanessa Williams both showed up dressed like Marilyn Monroe. ---

The girl who plays Juanita is an excellent actress because I feel myself wanting to throttle her. ---

Really? I totally sympathize with the kid. If I were that little, I’d totally hate it if my mom took a liking to some stranger and seemed very much to be treating her better than me. And Gabby seems to also have a nasty habit of forgetting her second daughter as well. I’m now 100% certain that Paul’s wife is working for Felicia Tillman. Apparently she’s her daughter. Keith’s cluelessness about ancient pop culture was refreshing. And the plot about Tom’s mother was absolutely heartbreaking. Well done. ---

I sympathize with Juanita as well, will be intresting to see what happens there… and I think it was Lee,not Bob that was dressed as Marilyn.
