The 5 years later thing was interesting. Not surprised about Lynette’s kids, Bree’s future or even Gabrielle’s but what about Susan? ---

A great season finale. Truly great. Wonderful to see the evil little imp get shove out. Good to see Tom and Lynette reconcile. What a way for Gabby to get the cash! Good to see Katherine being part of the gang. And the thing with Susan? My guess is that it’s something that will be dealt with in the series finale. ---

Supposedly the series has 3 more years to go and I can’t imagine they’ll wait that long to explain why Susan and Mike aren’t together. I think the finale will be when they get _back_ together though, after several more years of drama and stupidity on Susan’s part. I wonder if Mike didn’t finally just get fed up with her Lucy Ricardo-inspired wackiness at some point and head out in search of Edie. 😉 ---

I also have to doubt that we’ve actually seen the last of demon-child(Kayla). As a teenager she could really make Lynette’s life a living hell. ---

I’m so confused… is this jump ahead five years a permenent thing (as it has been on One Tree Hill) or will next season begin just after the earlier events in last night’s episode? ---

I just saw the finale today. Wow, the 5 years later snippet was awesome. And Susan? What a shocker! What the hell happens to Mike? One thing that really bothers me is the extreme hypocrasy of Bree. She tells Orson that he should turn himself into the cops for ATTEMPTING (and failing) to kill Mike, but she helped cover up her son’s hit and run on Carlo’s Mom, who died! How very Christian of her. Not liking that character at all. ---

Not liking that character at all. [/QUOTE] They’re all guilty of huge amounts of hypocrisy. If you think about it too much it’s hard to feel any sympathy for any of them. That five years later thing was a trip though, huh? Not sure I like it. Hopefully next season will start off in the current day and lead us up to all of that. Is Edie gone for good? I’d have thought she’d have somehow worked her way back into everyones lives. ---

My guess is that Mike dies. Edie dies too. And then Susan takes up with the mortician. Okay, it’s just one scenario. ---

Not that I’m condoning Bree’s cover-up, but can’t you see a bit of difference in the fact that Andrew, although totally wrong for DUI, hit Mama Solis by accident, and Orson actually went after Mike pre-meditated?
