Anybody play this game yet? My son just plunked down $50 bucks for this game.

He can’t get the alien or the flying saucer to move forward. Only sideways or backwards. Now he’s pissed.

Whats he doing wrong?

I dont know anthing about these things. I figure there’s some younger dopers out there who can help.

PS2 or Xbox?

Did he read the manual? It should all be laid out in black and white in the first two pages or so.

Xbox

The manual just tells him to use his left thumbstick to move around with.

He’s sure that his controller works fine (it does with with other games).

All the reviews I’ve read say to use the left thumbstick.

Maybe try a different controller… or take the game back.
