I developed what the doctor calls “a sensitivity” (short of a full-blown allergy) to zinc. Handling the stuff, especially if its rusting, causes the most amazing break-outs on my hands - small hard pimples that become really nasty blisters. So it happens. ---

I developed a gluten intolerance after an emotional upset about 10 years ago. Took me 5 years to get diagnosed and then another few years to get rid of it again. ---
