All I could think of was “Mister Roberts”…wasn’t that what James Cagney kept calling Henry Fonda?? Clever boy?..oh well…it’s been years. I keep hearing, [James Cagney] " Boy, Oh Boy" [/James Cagney] calling to Fonda. I don’t recall any actors of African-American descent in “Mister Roberts”, but it’s been years. ---

Obviously, this was intended as a slur against me as a gay person and against all gay people everywhere. The clear message is that he does not consider the concerns of gay people to be worth responding to. Golly, this accusing people of shit with little or no basis in reality is fun! (I was going to say “this tarring people with the bigot brush” instead of “this accusing people of shit” but I wouldn’t want to come off like a racist) ---
