Don’t forget the issue with Dex getting injured as a kid and needing blood from his bio-dad. (Rare blood type, ISTR). Harry got him to donate and Dex wrote a thank you card that was in his bio-dad’s effects. ---

Re: Louis. The search that led me to this forum also led me to the Dexter wiki article on Louis which reckons he is very fond of both Dexter and Jamie. I thought this was funny as his opening line to her is an albeit playful reference to Dexter, and he does seem to be using her to get to him (consider the scene when he blows her off after being apparently irked by Dex). I’ve only got back into it at the behest of my classmates but am a bit concerned with the shows seemingly sloppy writing. I hope that if Louis is set up to be Dexter’s Moriarty that it is done some justice in the following series, potentially leading to their joint destruction. Not that it was ever that believable… ---

**[Mod Hat:]** MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE LAST EPISODE! Sooo…are any of us going to say “HOLY SHIT!” about Debra seeing Dexter murder travis? How the hell are they going to deal with THAT? What’s more important to Dexter, staying out of jail, or Debra? Cuz seems likely he’s going to have to think about killing her. And things have changed since Season 2, he’s not nearly so hinky about killing the innocent anymore. So the alternative is that he convinces Debra that this was a one-off and she agrees to keep her mouth shut. Any other options anyone can think of? ---
