It bothered me that he even needed it after all those trips. I was going to suggest that he didn’t think about the possibilty of someone taking it. But Rita might wonder why he was going out that way. Yeah, he should have cleared it.

For one thing, his new car was a spur of the moment thing, a “family” car. Another, he didn’t think he would be killing again anytime soon.
