Noon won’t work for me. I have the football game and then we’re taking Smitty to lunch. Can we make it closer to one? Ughh…I am never gonna make it to one of these… My best friend in the world is coming in town for a visit tommorow and I haven’t seen her in almost a year. I’ve been told that all my plans are cancelled and she has total control of my life for the day. I was going to protest, but seeing as how I have this beautiful young lady up on the “hopeful wife-to-be someday list”, as the number one and only pick…I’m letting her have her way with me 😉 Hopefully I’ll make one eventually…but as for tommorow… I’ll have to continue to be the ever elusive SkySlash… -SS ☹ 🙂 ---

1 p.m. is fine with me. If we clip an hour out of our time at the fair, maybe I’ll only spend $1400 instead of $1500. _grin_ And I think I’m safe from being stalked by you, Grace, for reasons you know well. So if I should need a ride home I’ll happily accept one from you. It may be a moot point anyway - Mrs. Chef and Chef Jr. will probably stay for dinner, it’s just a question of whether they conk out before I want to leave. ---

Chef, while drinking the place dry before y’all get to El Arroyo does have some appeal, I’m considering the fair, also. Life’s in a bit of a turmoil at the moment with this emergency car buying so I hate to make too firm of plans just yet. If I go, I’ll probably go straight to the fair and catch up with y’all there, somehow. Zy, do I get to go in the dressing room with you to help with the costumes?? This is definately interesting. No one is helping Zyada except me!! It’s the only way I can ensure that we’re going to see more than the dressing rooms at the fair. Geez! I think 6:00 p.m. was designated as the meeting time for dinner at El Arroyo. ---
