\*\* Kilt-wearin’ man\*\* I’d like to second **Grace’s** invitation to come on anyway. **Moxmaiden** and I usually go too far overboard fixing food when we have guests over and have leftovers for days. After the Christmas party we had leftovers for a week or so (except for the stuffing, I guess it was a hit). We don’t let people leave hungry and we don’t ask for donations if we’re not asked to provide all the food. **Ziactrice** like I said last year in our post-Christmas thread, I admire very little more than a person who understands their own limits and has the self-discipline and courage to acknowledge when they’ve gone too far. You lost no respect in our eyes for accepting our hospitality and I hope you weren’t too hard on yourself. Ice cream sounds good. Poor **Moxmaiden** couldn’t partake because our new baby is highly intolerant of the proteins in cow’s milk and if she consumes dairy and then nurses then the baby will have gas and stomach upset for a couple days. I’ll bribe her with Milano cookies and we can have ice cream though 😉 It’s really something that should be made beforehand though. If I give up my portion of the bed, and **Moxmaiden** chooses not to relinquish her portion, here is some information she would probably not volunteer. [ol][li] She snores[/li][li] She is a horrible blanket-hog[/li][li] She likes to let her “feet breathe” while she sleeps. This means she leaves the sheets untucked at the bottom and keeps a box fan going on full blast right at the foot of the bed. This has the effect of freezing her bed partner because she has stolen all the blankets. Her bed partner will then have a continual runny nose and be a step away from pneumonia at all times. Getting the full sized bed was **Mtgman** ’s idea. [/li][li]My feet get hot and so I like to have them not covered up. I would prefer the fan blowing on my face because the bedroom is stuffy, but because **Mtgman** gets all allergic from the fan, I leave it turned away from the bed so that it at least circulates the air.[/ol][/li] Just for that I might not give up my place in the bed to join him on the couch. One other note though, the baby does sleep in the bed with me, so there will be two women in the bed at all times.😉 ---

I really would come, but the timing’s bad - and not just because of money (I must’ve missed the part where a location was decided on - I thought it was happening at a restaraunt somewhere) but lots of other stuff, too. I have about 12 that either know the way or have asked for directions. If anyone else out there is planning on coming, please email me for directions. No one is speaking up about what to bring. But as a suggestion, this is a grazing group, not a set down and eat bunch. Bring finger food, snacks, chicken wings, fried cheese sticks, chips, dips, things to carry around and eat and drip on the carpet. **Chef Troy** said we were like a herd of cats. This is just to give a clue what sort of things to bring for the ones that haven’t been to one of our gatherings at someone’s house before. Jim ---
