Someone tell me which Saturday, though. I have to be home to have my satellite dish put in from 12-5 this Sat. Otherwise, I am agreeable to time/place that isn’t too smoky. Good whiskey would just be gravy. Zia ---

Bennigan’s is fine with me. Does 6:00 p.m. sound okay? **Zia** there are two different dates going on here. One is this Saturday and that’s for drinks at Bennigan’s. The other is next Sunday (I think) for bowling somewhere near Walnut Hill and Central. ---

Well you guys missed out on the fun yesterday. Hootee, Aglarond, Zyada, JimB, and I met at Bennigan’s for drinks and dinner. After I got a little tipsy, we all went back to my place for a wild orgy. 😉 Actually we came back here to visit and maybe watch _I’m Gonna Git You Sucka_. It turned out that Ag and I were the only ones really interested in seeing the movie so after everyone left we made popcorn and laughed our way through the movie. The rest of you guys should’ve stayed. You missed seeing Aglarond laugh so hard that he fell off the couch. ---

howdy, well guys looks like **Freud** and I need to watch the board more. He loves to bowl , so I know he would of liked meeting with you all. \*\* Freud \*\*has been working alot of OT at work , so today would of been out. I will try and do a better job of keeping in touch. We need to have a dopefest here in Austin, now that we have a 55" TV, we could have something at our place. **Grace** that movie would of been great on the big screen. 😃 well I am going to close this for now. **Freud** and I will be out of pocket for a few days, not that we post that much anyway. will be in colorado aug3-8 so maybe we can see you all when we get back. ---

Actually bowling wasn’t this weekend. It’s next weekend, which looks like you won’t be able to make since you’re going to Colorado. I’m sure there will be plenty of other dopefests for FreudianSlip to attend. ---

Okay, let’s get this back on track. It looks like we have a starting time limit of 3:00, that being when **Mrs. Chef** will be home from her horrific job of Snot Wrangler. [sub]actually she works kids’ birthday parties at The Little Gym, but I maintain that the job description is pretty accurate.[/sub] The ENDING time limit is that **Badtz Maru** must be at work by 10:00, and **Chef Jr.** darn well better be in bed by then as well. Allowing an hour for Badtz to drop Kobyashi back home and punch that clock, we have about a six-hour window, which can be filled by any combination of eating, drinking, movie-watching at my place, and bowling. What say you, everyone? Of course the 3:00 starting limit applies only to bowling. You folks can certainly come to my place earlier than that for food/booze/movies. Do we want to bowl first and then finish up at Chez Chef, or the other way around? ---

There is a chance we might not be able to make it, a friend of ours has been trying to get us to come over to his place so he can cook out for us, and we put him off again last weekend and will probably have to do something this coming weekend, but chances are I can schedule around that. One of yesterday’s Scrabble Grams answers was “Seafood,” which got me thinking about eating some of it. It turns out that **TONIGHT** (Tuesday, July 31) is the last night that **Dick’s Last Resort** down in the West End is doing their all-you-can-eat snow crab deal. Mrs. Chef, Chef Jr. and I are going to be there around 6:30 or 7:00… does anyone want to join us? I realize this is the extreme last minute but if I don’t offer, then it’s guaranteed that no one will join us. (The deal is all you can eat crab legs, hush puppies, fries, corn on the cob, and corn chowder for $13.99. As a point of comparison, Red Lobster charges $14.99 for _one pound_ of crab legs. Plus, Red Lobster doesn’t have live music and their waiters aren’t NEARLY as smartassed.) Is anyone able to come join us and eat crab til your fingers get pruny?
