# DFW folks, Texans or Whoever - I'm having a party.

My lovely new wife, **sylphishone** , is going to be here on the 25th of July. We are wanting to have a _get to know each other_ type of gathering on the 26th. That’s a Saturday for those, like me, that don’t have a calendar.
What I want to do is have an afternoon party at our house in Plano. Tonya, my daughter, is living there and since she doesn’t know us has agreed to let us invade her house. … She’s met **Grace** , but that is all.
It is a family (kid) friendly place. There is a pool. We may have a badminton net and basketball goal up. There is a ping pong table inside. I’ll smoke a brisket and have burgers and some of those obscene hot dogs.
You are welcome to bring side dishes, chips, paper plates, cups, beer, cokes (for any yankees reading this, that includes Dr Pepper, Pepsi, Sprite, Root Beer and any other soft drink), or anything else anyone can think of. But do kind of let me know. I don’t really need 400 paper plates.
If y’all would like, I can get a keg and take donations. There will be several of **sylphishone** ’s (Terry) friends plus some of my family there.
For those that know where **Ziactrice** lives, it is two door away. Otherwise, email me for directions.
I hope the date isn’t inconvenient, but it is the best for us. Unless a gob of people can’t make it, I’d like to stick with that.
July 26th, about 2pm till who cares. Eat at around 5 or 6pm. Come when you want, leave when you want.
Let me know who’ll be there.

Sigh. My rotten timing kicks in again. I’m going to be in Louisiana, helping my niece move off to college, on the 26th. I won’t get to meet the blushing bride _or_ **Snake Legs**.

That sounds good, **Grace**. And yes, I am bringing the obscene hot dogs. I hope **moxmaiden** is coming. I loved the expression on her face when she looked that pot of those hot dogs.
