Well, to be fair, it is clear that what friend \*\*Shodan \*\*\*meant \*was that it is important for YOU to approach the other side with respect, and a concern for mutual understanding. He’s just giving advice to YOU and people like you. So that you know how to behave properly when addressing your betters. This advice does not, of course, apply to himself. ---
