# Did a murderer escape punishment using the "Twinkie defense"?

Just a couple of corrections to **Jillgat** ’s report. White was sentenced to 7 years in prison rather than 6 and he was paroled in January 1984 not 1985, committing suicide in October 1985 some year and 10 months after leaving prison.
