I ran into **Eyebrows of Doom** at an event set up by a social club of sorts here in NYC. I mentioned it on the boards months before and apparently she signed up but this was the first event we both signed up for at the same time. ---

I stumbled across a lurker once at a previous job, I overheard her talking to a friend quoting part of a thread I had been reading just like 30 min earlier. I asked her if she knew Cecil Adams, she replied not formally, but I hang out at his place now and then. ---

I went to a Dopefest once and recognized one of the attendees (who shall remain anonymous in this post) as having once been a server at a cafe I frequented. So we had at least had some interactions of the customer/server variety before realizing we were both Dopers. ---
