Yes, I surely did. I have to wonder if someone was seeding the woods with those things just so kids could find them. It’s the circle of life! ---

Yes, I found most of a mag–although chewed up and scattered over a large area–far into the woods in Western PA, while looking for old glass bottles at an abandoned mining camp. The mag obviously didn’t belong to the camp, which was abandoned in the 40’s or 50’s, and most of the other debris at the camp was of that vintage. That one was a case of “how did that get there?” I can only figure a hunter left it out there…the camp is truly out in the middle of nowhere. Joe Pernice’s old band, the Scud Mountain Boys, did a song about this phenomenon called “Penthouse in the Woods.” ---

Sometimes something like the concept of “dirty sanchez” will come up on some television show, and he’ll have no idea what it is. I think to myself, “Dude, you have the internet. How could you not know this stuff?” When I was a kid, I’d get a little thrill by looking to see if a particular dictionary had naughty words in it. The internet would have made my head explode. ---

I did because I was the one that put it there. Gotta have a safe place out of the house that the family would never look, right? I don’t remember what happened to my stash, not sure if I retrieved it or if it just rotted away. ---

I did. It was actually just one page from a magazine for gay men. It was right around the time of my budding sexuality, and I kept it. Not because I got off on it- I had pretty much determined by then that I was straight- but, well, I was curious. My little fella was just starting to grow into a mighty oak, as it were, but I didn’t really have access to any others to see how mine compared, or to see what it would eventually look like. So I brought it home and stashed it away in my room somewhere. I don’t recall ever getting rid of it, so it’s likely that my mom found it during one of her clean sweeps after I moved out. Probably gave her a case of the vapors. ---

Near where I used to stay there was a stretch of old road, left over from a road straightening programme, and long-distance lorry drivers regularly used it to park up for the night. It was a treasure trove of found porn. Back then, British bongo mags were basically softcore, but some of the drivers had obviously been to Holland and Germany… ---

Find it? No. Stashed it? Yes. When we were still pretty young (pre-puberty, certainly) my cousin found some porn dumpster-diving by an apartment near her house.
