I suspect you are right. One constant I see in successful YouTube channels and blog posts is consistency. There is a post on a schedule people can rely on. Without that people lose track and success seems to fade. Just my $0.02 ---

I’m beginning to think, and have heard it whispered, that maybe Cecil Adams never really existed at all; that perhaps his existence was a myth we were told in earlier, more innocent times, so that we didn’t think of the world as this horrible place filled with ignorance. If anyone wants to reassure me otherwise, please, do so… “Yes, solost, there is a Cecil Adams. He exists as certainly as knowledge and clarity exists, and ignorance is fought, and you know that these things abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy.” ---
