I have heard several interesting facts about Hitler over time, such as accounts of his drug use and sense of humor (didn’t really have on, only laughed at the pain of others). But last night somebody told me that Hitler liked to be pooped and peed on when having sex. Has anyone else heard this? What about other crazy facts about Hitler? ---

I thought you meant **scat** as in the singing style. Hell, maybe that’s where **Cab Calloway** got his influence. I have listened to Herr Hitler’s speeches, and even though I’m German, I can’t for the life of me understand some of his words. Wonder how his speeches would sound sampled? 😉 Q ---

BTW, I **know** Adolf was Austrian by birth. It’s still hard to understand his words when I hear them, though. Maybe it’s because I’ve been in the States so long. He sure got through to **some** folks, though, didn’t he? Q ---

There are a lot of rumors about Hitler, and they remain that - just rumors. Here’s a well-written [review](http://bulletin.ninemsn.com.au/bulletin/EdDesk.nsf/All/8EC807FE49958355CA256B3B000A5228) that touches on the subject. The book it reviews, _The Hidden Hitler_, makes the contention that Hitler was homosexual. The reviewer quotes Ian Kershaw, who wrote a lengthy biography of Hitler, and talks about his unusual sex life : > [@](#): > > Kershaw devotes just the odd paragraph to Hitler’s sexuality. Seriously? I really, really doubt it. Hitler was exceedingly secretive with his private life, especially his love life. Even if he _was_ into scat, I doubt the women in his life would have ever told anyone, let alone tell anyone himself. ---

Oh, but I WAS talking about Hitler’s singing career! And then I pondered his sexual fetishes immediately afterwards. It just so happened that the term for both the style of singing I thought he might have enjoyed is also the same term for the disgusting (in my opinion, no offense) sexual fetish that I described! Imagine that! What are the odds? A royal flush?
