I remember people’s names and stories about them from some jobs, but not high school McD’s. My manager there would whisper as we passed each other at times during the day would mutter, “Don’t let them send you to manager training. You’ll never escape!” ---

I remember one of my asshole McDonald’s bosses names. This was circa 1978. I remember because my best friend worked for him a year before I did. She had a really good name for him; she called him [first name] feces. What’s funny is I remember his first name and feces which rhymed with his last name, but I can’t remember his actual last name. Feces was actually more fitting. ---

I remember my first job as a grocery bagger in Little Rock, Arkansas. But I don’t know the store name. I remember working for a veterinarian in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Don’t remember her name or the name of the clinic. ---

Its vaguely possible she worked for some less-known burger chain, but shes always says “McDonalds” because its easier than getting bogged down in "Well, we used to have this chain called . … " There would be nothing wrong with that. Its a distinction without a difference. ---
