I can’t imagine ever deciding to vote for or against a candidate on the basis of whether or not they worked for a specific fast food chain 40 years ago, unless that chain was Chick-Fil-A and they did in fact work there. I hope this isn’t gonna be what replaces talking about what the candidates did or didn’t do in Vietnam. ---

This sort of nonsense is strictly about giving a mental figleaf to people who aren’t going to vote for someone for reasons they don’t want to admit (to themselves or others). > “I know Hillary Clinton is smart and well qualified and sane and Trump is an inexperienced egotistical immoral grifter, but ~~I’m too lazy to vote/I like Trump’s racism/I won’t vote for a woman/Trump’s lies are obvious but they make me feel good etc~~ but, but… _Emails_!” Nobody who would otherwise have followed a rational or emotional decision to vote for Harris is not going to do so because she did or did not work at McDonalds, even if they believe she has lied about it. ---

What I would now love to see, not because Harris needs to prove her work history, but because it would trigger Trump. 1. Second debate 2. Proof released the day prior 3. Asking Donald for an apology for a false accusation during the debate 4. Ask him to release his taxes as per his promise ---
