Should anyone actually ask the Harris camp about this, they should say that anything [Michigan’s “Man of the Year”](https://www.cnn.com/2024/06/16/politics/fact-check-donald-trump-michigan-man-of-the-year/index.html) 🙄 says should be taken with a huge grain of salt. ---

I figure my business included soothing them, murmuring soft words of their being loved and kissing the tops of their heads. I eventually got fired for that, after getting caught head kissing one too many times. I still went on to become a nurse and my first nursing job was in a neonatal intensive care unit, where my life of crime continued, fortunately the head nurse then was a partner in the nurturing, words of love, cuddling, skin contact crime. Got paid lots more than 75 cents an hour too but I would have paid them to do that work. Union nurse too-best work ever. Here’s hoping that under Kamala Harris there will be more nurses in unions again. ---

Very cool story. My younger sister was clerical, but until she transferred to Respiratory, she always worked on the floors. She worked on the geriatric floor for years, and she loved it. It was kinda like your neonatal unit in reverse. She learned how to sooth and calm older senile or slightly demented patients. I’ll bet some of those babies had better lives due to those little kisses. ---

If I had to prove it, I would probably need to round up the people in my friend group from back then and hope they could confirm I worked at Hilton. From digging around in the computer terminals in the grocery store I work at, it looks like our computer records only go back to 1995 or so. (Interesting side note: we have notes in our system not to accept any checks from OJ Simpson or Gary Ridgway.) ---

I worked at McDonalds in high school in the 80s. I absolutely doubt there is any paper trail to prove it. Maybe I could find someone from that time who remembers me working there, but if I go down that rabbit hole, next they’ll want me to prove I wasn’t born in Kenya. Trying to prove it is playing their game. ---

I have a couple vague images of faces but no names, substantial memories, etc. Maybe the IRS has records of the minimum wage income taxes I filed thirty years ago but I sure don’t. I could name the McDonalds since it was on my campus but I sincerely doubt they keep records of every kid who put in a semester or two there from the last thirty-plus years. But, agreed with everyone else who says it’s not worth “proving”. The sort of people on the bandwagon for this nonsense wouldn’t care if Harris presented her framed diploma from Hamburger U, they’d just find some other dumb thing to say she must be lying about. ---
