Did Kansas Atty Gen break any law to let Bill O'Reilly look at abortion records?

In the small Kansas town I grew up in, an 11 year old girl gave vaginal birth over five years ago, and as far as I know is participating in raising the baby. My mother knows one of the girl’s relatives and sent a baby shower gift for the baby. (I think she was ten when she got pregnant. I myself was ten when I started my cycle.) I am not privy to how she got pregnant, her relative wasn’t comfortable discussing it, other than to imply the girl wasn’t willing. I’d like to see Bill smacked down for his loudmouth this time. I hope they can find reason to prosecute him, and that they pursue it to the fullest extent of the law. As for Kline, I’m glad he’s out of office now. How much money did he waste chasing after “sex criminals” in this manner, that could have been spent helping at risk children in this state?

That’s the one. O’Reilly kepps calling him “Tiller the baby killer” on his show

I also saw him tease a show once by saying “there’s a doctor in Kansas who executes babies.”

O’Reilly is in a category by himself.

I thought it was more a matter of the moderates getting tired of being hogtied by the Fundie Faction of the Kansas Republican Party.

It is a matter of that. What did I say that contradicts that?

Well, you said they did so at the prodding of Democratic Governor Kathleen Sebelius, which would be a different causation.

It might be different, but it’s not contradictory, and in this case they’re both true and in conjunction with each other. Sebelius did it because she saw the opportunity in the breakdown of the Republican party and the Republicans who were persuaded to go along with her suggestion did it because of their frustration with the religious right.
