Did Marilyn Monore have implants? Some one I know is claiming she was a C when she was still Norma Jean. Her bio states she was a D. Were they doing implants then? ---

No. They were not doing implants then. And I have seen photos of her when she was in her early 20s, and those nudie shots she did shortly before she died, and no way were those implants. She did have some fairly minor nose- and chin-reshaping done in the late 1940s, though. ---

According to this [plastic surgeon]([http://www.breast-implants-augmentations.com/silicone\_breast\_impants.htm#History](http://www.breast-implants-augmentations.com/silicone_breast_impants.htm#History) of Implants), silicone implants were first introduced in 1963, but breast augmentation by means of injection existed in the 40’s, and various other objects were used as implants as far back as the 1880’s. For what it’s worth, Marilyn looks natural to me. ---

Breast implants did not exist in the late 1940s when 22-year-old divorcee Norma Jeane (yes, final “e”) Dougherty, struggling to make ends meet, began to do nude modeling. And her breasts were quite full already. According to the woman who was the Curator of the Marilyn Auction and Exhibit run by Cristie’s a few years ago, Marilyn Monroe wore a **B Cup** bra. This was told to me by her face to face, so sorry no cite. She said it to Barbara Walters, but I was standing right there. Cartooniverse ---
