# Did my daughter get scammed?

She had no clue who or where it came from. She sees something online she likes and clicks buy. No investigation of origin or price.

Reminds me of another woman I know. Except daughter isn’t spending my money.

I guess that other woman who is not your daughter considers your money to be partially hers too. Can’t blame her.

I don’t believe it is possible to steal a high resolution picture of that size, the photographer probably did get his cut. He is the only one who has the original data, scanning a print or copy&pasting the image from the website would not achieve acceptable results, IMO.

I’m guessing it’s a stock photo that can be licensed.
