My first thought upon hearing the news was: “That’s too bad. He seemed like a nice guy.” My second thought: “I wonder whatever happened to The Money Store.” RIP Phil. ---

I got the New York Post at the 7-11 today, it was on the front page. ---

As a Tigers fan, reading this thread, I am truly dreading the day Ernie Harwell dies. I may cry like an eight-year-old, which is the age I was when I first heard him call a game back in 1983. ---
