The way I recall it: Rocky: Rocky loses to Apollo Creed Rocky II: Rocky beats Apollo Creed Rocky III: Rocky beats Clubber “Mr. T” Lang with Apollo Creed as his trainer Rocky IV: Rocky BEats Ivan Drago Rocky V: Dunno? Please comment/verify ---

He wasn’t even expected to last three rounds with Apollo. His goal was to “go the distance,” last all 15 rounds. So…, even tho he lost the actual fight, he won a moral victory for the little guy/underdog everywhere. A secret compartment in my ring I fill With an Underdog super energy pill ---

He lost… Split Decision though…(went distance obviously). But he still made his mark. ---

In part 3 there were TWO fights. Rocky LOST the first one to Lang and then won the rematch. ---
