**Nava,** I also like Tuna (as an MMP name, can’t abide eating the fish). One of these times we’ll have to do a comprehensive collection of Mumper names. **Nut,** have fun camping. And what’s the fun in having beer and not drinking it? **Moooooomm,** I also used to have the same irrational reaction when MY SPOT was filled at 6am. Meant walking a whole 10 feet farther to work, ruined my whole day…🆒😉 **ruble,** your sober secret is safe with us (well, not counting **flytrap** and **spidey** ). Scan on. Afternoon, mumpers! It’s a beautiful sunny day here and I would like to be anywhere but in the office…I wonder if anyone would notice if I took my 'pooter outside and worked on the grass? It’s quiet in here today too, finally got a day with no exams so we are enjoying the peace until tomorrow when it could all go horribly wrong. Other than that, nothing much going on here…'im indoors is working away so I am alone and unsupervised during the week, plus I am unsupervised at the weekend since he’s off to Scotland to visit his family. I have a band to see on Saturday night and apparently now I’m going frock shopping with a friend in the afternoon. Gym night tonight too, if the weather holds then it might involve outdoor exercise! ---

I am proud of myself. I have now installed five new ceilin’ fans with light fixtures even. So far they all work and none have fallen down (as of yet) so I’m callin’ it a win. Girls were allowed to wear pants, everyone was allowed to wear jeans, and boys could let their hair grow long at the beginnin’ of my junior year in high school. Chaos reined! Havoc was wreaked! Barbers went bankrupt! ---

Posting from irk on my zombie computer. This is the one that was drownded. I had a new HD put in for cheap. I have a new computer that hubby bought being delivered today. Feast or famine with computers. Went to the grocery store and stocked up on lunch stuff, had a sammie and just had to change the password here as the one I had wrote down did not irk. Pain in the arse. ---

Prepared pie crust? Cake mixes? Cream of mucilage soup? I use all of those things, and more. 🆒 I know how to make white (bechamel) sauce, and sometimes do, but I don’t gotta! 😛 How’s that for classless? Mowed the lawn yesterday so the grass would be short 'cause I want to spread stuff on the lawn to kill the digger bees. I generally like bees, and these are non-violent, but they scare the bejeesus out of other people, and, if left to their own devices, there will be several thousand of them in the yard in short order, so I have been ordered to massacre them. That’s the plan for today. ---

We went to Bert’s for a sammich supper. \*\*FCD \*\*got the Reuben and I got a meatball sub, which I proceeded to drip on my shirt, my khakis, my sock (!) and my shoe (!) :eek: After the first attempt, I decided to just cut up the meatballs and tear the bread into pieces. It was OK, I guess. And as soon as I got home, everything that got sauced got sprayed. My hands now reek of spray-n-wash. 80% chance of T-storms tonight, but from the looks of the radar, they’re still a ways off. \*\*FCD \*\*mowed pretty much everything but the ditches today. Dunno if he’ll be able to do any more before we leave for FL. Speaking of which, I need to check the FL weather for the weekend. ---

Well, good and bad; the rain held off long enough for the yard service to aerate it, but it also rained just in time to cancel my soccer practice, so I’m all dressed up and nowhere to go. Dental work complete, didn’t even need a shot. The dentist was more worried about my high blood pressure than my regular Doctor, but we got through OK. Need to get the macaroni and cheese out shortly for dinner. Heading to bed early for an 0500 start of the one-day Houston trip. **Sari,** not doing what again? Typing? Staying alive? Not doing something? 🆒:p:) **Bumba,** no bees here, but everybody watches out for the fire ants about now. And the wasps seem to adopt my mailbox every summer. **swampy,** I have four ceiling fans, if you’d like to branch out they could use replacing… ---

Have fun camping **nut**! When I took Nelson out after irk, one of the new neighbors’ dog came bounding toward us. While I hollered “Get back!”, Nelson slipped out of his new harness and got loose. Once the other dog was contained, he came when I called him, but when I reharnessed him, I attached the leash to both harness and collar. The XS one is pretty snug, but there’s too much wiggle room in the small. Any advice from other dog people about one who is between sizes? ---
