I buy briefs myself, and choose white because they remind me that they are not ill-fitting knockoffs of briefs. I ought to buy more boxers, for when I am with company for modesty purposes, but they are more expensive. Growing up it was tighty whities, white only tee shirts and white sheets also for all beds in the house. I gave up on white tee shirts about the age of 17, on the whitiey tighty for colored pattern boxers at about 23 or so, and at about 30 banned white sheets from the house. ---
