# Did the Vatican even field Olympic athletes?

BTW, I would wager that Liechtenstein’s athletes are assisted by the Swiss in some way. Liechtenstein is effectively an appendage of Switzerland, which provides many of the basic services for its citizens. Such things as sports programs are shared as well.
