# Did this passage come from a Christian textbook?

That gets back to what one means by “electricity”. If you mean current, then you only see that if it affects some other matter in some way. If you mean electromagnetic fields, though, then what @F.U.Shakespeare said is exactly correct.

Maybe we should contact the author of the book for clarification. I’m sure he/she understands this better than we laypeople.

A church near me has this homily on their sign by the road:

“Mosquitoes And Fleas Are God’s Way Of Making Us Slap Our Face”

I suppose that message has something to do with humility, but it makes me want to blast whoever thought of it with a can of Raid.
