A series of herbal beers, for the holistic set that like to get crunk. Lo, here it is, and I hear Budweiser is making something similar.
The first in the series would be Gingko Beeroba. The marketing slogan would be, “For the Nights You Want to Remember.” I thought of this at least eight years ago.
If anyone takes this particular idea and runs with it, remember me when you’re rich.
I wanted to be the brilliant mind that put Carmex in a tube instead of the little jar that you have to dip your grody fingers into. Unfortunately, it’s been done. I had just never seen it until recently.
Tupperware-type sets of food containers, with many, many different sizes of containers, but only two or three different sizes of lids. All the small containers use identical blue square lids; all the medium-sized ones use identical green circle lids; all the large-sized ones use identical red rectangle lids.
Simple, brilliant, and already done. Now I just need to buy some.

Somewhere in the files of the Harpoon Brewing company ( A local brewery in Boston) there is a letter from me outlining a great idea I had concerning the introduction of a new beverage that I thought they would be interested in. As many Dopers are aware, a “Shandy” is a drink traditionally made from ale and lemonade. I proposed that Harpoon produce and market their own version; the catch was, that in place of lemonade, they would use a powdered breakfast citrus drink favored by American astronauts. The name for this new product practically wrote itself: “'Poon-Tang.” I’m still waiting to hear back from them.
