I’m including junior high too. If for some reason you had a chance to be thirteen again and had to relive grades 7-12, would you be glad? I don’t mean a situation where you get to go back and still keep all your memories, experience and adult perspective. I mean go back to the confused, hormone-challenged kid you were then. Given a choice between that and say, being tortured with a power drill, it’d be a close call for me. ---

For me, high school was grades 9-12, and, no, I didn’t particularly like it. ---

Immensely. It started out pretty meh but by year 12 I was having a great time. I got crap grades though. ---

If I could go back knowing what I know now? I wouldn’t like it, but it wouldn’t be horrible. I’d probably manage to make those four years a lot more enjoyable. But back with a clean slate? Bring on the amateur trepanning. ---

For me high school was grade 9-13. No, I wasn’t stupid; Ontario had five years of high school up until recently. I did poorly my first few years and didn’t like it. I enjoyed the last few years though, as my grades improved and my self confidence increased. Of course, I’d love to go back to 1985 and start over. The girls I could lay. The money I could make betting on sporting events I now know the outcomes of! ---

Oh, yeah. My high school years were actually rather pleasant, overall. If I had the chance to do it again, knowing what I know now…I just might take them up on it. I’d make the same mistakes, only sooner! 😃 ---

I enjoy the _memories_ of HS. I didn’t particularly enjoy it at the time I was going; but that’s only because I was too naive to realize that I would never be “networked” or “conected” to that many hot looking females again in my life. Now that I think about it, this could be a selling point for keeping kids in school. ---

Worst years of my life. If I went back knowing what I know now, I’m sure I could have had a far easier time, but to start over from scratch would be torture. I’m soooo thankful that things have slowly been getting better ever since then. 🙂 ---

The first time? Not at all. Went to three different high schools in three different states. Was never really happy. Wouldn’t do it again for all the tea in China. The second time? As a teacher, I fucking love it. I have no ego at stake. I am an institution. I am part of the community and am free to just love everyone without worrying about how that fits int othe grand scheme of things and if people love me back. There’s no comptition: I don’t need to be popular. I don’t even care. I can go to any event and know there will be people there I will enjoy sitting with. I’m a LIFETIME MEMBER of the PTA. I pretty much know everybody and everything that’s going on. ---

I wouldn’t choose to go back, but I did enjoy my time in school (both middle school and high school, which covers the 7-12 grade range); so, if some diabolical genie sent me back in time, I wouldn’t be crying in the beer I’d all of a sudden be unable to drink. ---

Yeah. Even if I was only allowed the vaguest of notions of what the future could hold. I’m really quite a loner and man, nothing suits a loner like having all the time in the world. Working really sucks up the time. Just to imagine all that free time. I’d do it in a heart beat. ---

Junior High, not so much, but my Senior High School days were the best years of my life up until my son was born. So, yeah, in a heartbeat. ---

I enjoyed high school. I was the rare nerd who got along with everyone. The cool kids tolerated me, The grease monkeys and I were friends, I was friends with the Band and Drama kids. Anyone discussing sports in the morning, I was in the middle of it. Among the nerds I was a leader, hell the fact I actually dated in High school had the other nerds envious. I enjoyed High school so much, I participated in over a dozen after school activities. Chess and D&D club being the primary ones. I enjoyed High School too much. My grades where only good in the subjects I liked. I did just enough in the other classes. 🙂 Jim ---

Actual high school: Not quite what I’d want to do again, but I wouldn’t be appauled by doing so. Junior high school: Absolutely not, for too many reasons to tell here. ---

I thought it was ok. I got along with most people. Had some friends. Dated a few girls. Played some sports. It was much more enjoyable once I had a car to drive.
