I definitely wouldn’t seek out the crazy a second time, but when I first got involved with my college girlfriend I had no idea what I was signing up for. I didn’t see the crazy until much later. I realized, as I was walking across campus to see her, that I was **hoping** for a truck to jump the curb and run me down so I wouldn’t have to get to her dorm. This led me to the obvious conclusion that if I was so unhappy, I should really break up with her. This proceeded very badly due to timing issues and general obliviousness, but ended up with her faking a pregnancy to get me to stay with her. ---

I suppose you could use the term “special” rather than crazy, but I figure that as long as the crazy behaviour remains, then whatever politically correct term is used, the conotation will remain the same. Quite simply, crazy is crazy, no amount of pussy-footing around the term will change that, and “Don’t stick your dick in the crazy” is excellent advice that folks need to know. ---

I voted that I don’t have a dick and I am the crazy. I’m on meds to prove it. Actually, I am working my way off meds for depression (yay!) and have high hopes. I suspect though that I have been the crazy in one or two relationships. I have certainly been the sane one in other relationships. And one where we were both sane-ish but both depressed. It’s been an interesting ride on this roller coaster so far. ---

She had zero inhibition. None. An off-the-scale libido (though I hesitate to say “nymphomania” because I’m not qualified to make a diagnosis, I think she was damn close). Not just a willingness to experiment, but an unstoppable, ever-present need to experiment, anywhere, to highly inappropriate and illegal lengths. She seemed to have no self-control when it came to sexual acts, and she was never not in the mood. And I was her primary focus for all of it, though she had her own girlfriends for secondary (and ternary, et al) foci. It wasn’t all good. She sexually harassed my female friends, propositioned my female cousins… I had to stop taking her to events because of… things… that she would do to herself and try to do to me. A few embarrassing trips to the ER for both of us for injuries. She could have full blown panic attacks when I would tell her “no” or stop her from doing something. And so on. ---

I think it is interesting that, at this point, over 70% of those responding to the poll have put their dick in the crazy, when over 20% of the remaining respondents don’t even have dicks. Either there’s a powerful lot of crazy out there, or only the crazy is putting out. ---
