I heard that he is going to be playing a stoic homicide detective. I hope he can pull it off! I also hear that Sandra Bullock’s next picture is going to be about a supposedly plain looking woman who discovers how beautiful and sexy she really is. ---

I read somewhere that the acting in Ben Afflecks next movie… is not really Oscar caliber. Michael Moore is doing a new documentary - apparently, it’s some sort of ground-breaking film where he discusses his own opinions in an in-your-face kind of manner. ---

Paris Hilton is lined up to play Blanche in _A Streetcar Named Desire_. They’re still struggling to cast Stanley, though. Right now it’s a dead heat between Pauly Shore, Adam Sandler and Gilbert Gottfried. ---

In her next role, Meg Ryan will have to look surprised pretty much all the time. Being able to frown a lot will be expected as well. Kevin Costner will be expected to face the camera some. Any use of his facial muscles will be optional. Russell Crowe and Danny Glover will have to whisper all their lines in post-production loops. Clint Eastwood will be playing an old guy. ---

I hear Scott Glenn will be playing a taciturn American tough guy with a military demeanor in his next big screen appearance. Terry Gilliam’s next directorial effort is rumored to be _look_ incredible but be way over budget and is expected not to be a commercial success. Eddie Murphy will be providing the voice for a jive-talking wisecracking comedic side kick in an upcoming animated feature. There will be lots of references to current pop culture.
