I didn’t. Apparently, it has been on for two seasons. It is hosted by Dan Patrick. A friend turned me on to it. It seems to be an official Jeopardy product, as it uses the same music, font, format, game play, and it even has clew crew Kelly Miyahara as the announcer. About the only difference is that there is one less clue per column, and the winnings are less. Oh, and that all the questions are sports based. It’s on the streaming/SmarTV network “Crackle”, which I had also never heard of. Is it just me? How many of you were aware of this show? Does anyone out there watch it? ---

those might be old …because years ago they tried different forms of jeopardy on various channels …vh1 had music/rock jeopardy one kid channel had jep! which was for school kids there were others they didn’t last all that long tho ---

Nope they are brand new. Still in production. Debut was last September. [Sports Jeopardy!](http://www.sportsjeopardy.com/) Yes, the ! is part of the title. Can’t say if it will last longer than the others, though! ---

A friend and I recently spent an evening binge watching a bunch of episodes. I enjoyed them. I’m gonna have to get the Crackle app on my Roku so I can watch more. ---

The values in the screens are just “points”. I think the winner gets $5K(?) no matter how many points he or she has. ---

I was thinking there was a version of it in the early 1970s but that turned out to be “Sports Challenge”, hosted by Dick Enberg. Lasted from 1971 to 1979 which is longer than I would have thought, although it may only have been the separate CBS version that lasted two years. Memorable moment: a team of NFL players was down 90 points at the last stage: a sports figure would appear in silhouette. Enberg would recite his life story as the clock ran down, losing a point a second for 90 seconds. The man appeared, shifted his stance slightly so you could tell he wore glasses. The players (Deacon Jones?) immediately yelled out “Satchel Paige” and was right. Unfortunately one second had elapsed so they got 89 points and lost by a point. I took the Sports Jeopardy test, and it was HARD! I passed, but just barely (I always aced the regular Jeopardy tests). ---

This seems similar in format and prize structure to _[Rock & Roll Jeopardy!](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_%26_Roll_Jeopardy!)_, which ran from 1998 to 2001 and was hosted by Jeff Probst. ---
