As to the gas arrow, my car has it as does my girlfriends however when we found this out a quick survey of everyone we knew showed that while many do, there are plenty of cars that don’t. ---

I didn’t know about the tabs either but I’m sure they’re just there in case you still have any sanity left when you finally unwrap yourself from the half that you did manage to pull out. I didn’t know about the toaster trap door either. There sure were a lot of crumbs down there that don’t come out when you shake it up and down. I’m amazed that we didn’t get food poisoning from it. ---

Mine doesn’t have a drawer and I don’t think that I’ve ever had one that did or I think that I would have noticed. Mine has a tiny little clip that allows you to remove the entire bottom but it’s not obvious unless you’re looking for it. ---
