Certainly someone figured this out previously, but I thought it was funny, it is mundane and pointless, and I must share it. Make an italic left parenthesis, an italic right one, then put a smiley in the middle. _(:)\*\*)_ Here’s a whole swarm of 'em !! _(:)\*\*)__(:)\*\*)__(:)\*\*)__(:)\*\*)__(🆒\*\*)__(_😉_)_ ---

How long did that take you to make by the way? I’m guessing no less than 30 minutes to get it all worked out from scratch. ---

Longer than I’d care to admit… Okay, probably about 30-40 minutes, I changed a couple parts a few times (mostly the head, the original had 6 😃 eyes but they were all spaced out by a line of :o head pieces so it looked weird and elongated). Originally the front legs ended before the edge of the pic too, that’s what the edit fixed, I decided later that it looked weird if the legs ended prematurely. I’m still not entirely happy with it, but there’s only so much you can do with 4 colors and without the luxury of “darkening” spots like you can in ASCII/Unicode art (and it bugged me that 😕 doesn’t work because it spaces the lines a tad too much). If anyone is wondering that front :o bulb is the head, the :Ds are open eyes and the 🆒s are supposed to be blinked eyes, it was hard to get that part to work out. ---

Is there a backwards “k”? That could work, the closest I can find is a Cyrillic “Zhe” (Ж), but it looks awkward. \ooo / \>(:))\< /ooo \ (I’m having too much with this thread) ---
