# Did you wait till you were married?  Do you wish you had?

I didn’t wait, though I didn’t sow alot of wild oats either. I slept with a long-term boyfriend, my first husband, and my second (and final!) husband.

Actually, I sort of wish I had taken a bit more time between the divorce and second marriage to date and meet more men. I feel a little bit as though I missed out on that part, even though I see how miserable some of my single friends are. I don’t think I would have been a miserable single - I think I would have enjoyed it. Of course, that’s knowing that I would eventually settle down with my current hubby, which may not have happened if I went that route.

So, hard to guess what might have been, but yeah, I would have had more partners if I had to do it over.

But I don’t regret having sex with my husband before we were married - I think it’s important to know that you’re compatible sexually as well as everything else.

I was 36 when I got married, she was 34. Both of us waited until marriage before having sex, and both of us are glad we did.

Of course, I _do_ kind of wish I had gotten married 10 years earlier…

Sorry to ressurect this thread but I recently (last night?) saw on TV (20/20? Nightline?) about a plastic surgeon that was reconstructing hymens on women who have had sexual relations. Whoda thunk?
