Hey, compared to Wal-Mart, _everybody_ is the little guy.

Yeah, I know WD is a big chain, but if Albertsons moving in next door can put them under, I don’t want to see what Wal-Mart is going to do. Well, actually I’m already seeing it. Winn Dixie used to be open 24 hours, now they close at midnight. There are hardly any shoppers there during the day, mostly just people who were suckered in by the cards or don’t want to wait in line at Wal-Mart.

Now, I see the point you’re getting at, Paul. If I really wanted to help the little guy, I’d buy all my food at a real Mom-and-Pop type grocery store.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the time or inclination to take up cooking. I’m a convenience food kinda guy. The little grocery stores, at least around here, don’t go out of their way to cater to that market.

However, if you’re looking for some _real_ Cajun tasso (the kind of sausage that’s in jambalaya), those little markets are the only place to go. The same goes for a lot of other meats, too.
