# Difference between....

:smack: _fate and destiny_. **Are they one and the same?** 😕 If there’s a difference between the two, how would you describe it? These questions have been keeping me awake at night from time to time… :o

Essentially the same. Only difference might be that _destiny_ can imply something grand or noble at the end vs. the more generic definition of _fate_. One’s fate could be good or bad.
