# Digital Media Storage Device...Thing

A co-worker claimed to have read about a device that takes information directly from digital media cards (SmartMedia, Compact Flash, etc.), and burns it directly to CD. Apparently, it functions like an [Image Tank](http://www.image-tank.com/englisch/e_frame.html). I’ve never heard of anything like it, but it sounds like a cool idea…

Any Dopers ever seen something like this?
