I cherry pick. I liked whole albums for only maybe a dozen bands/artists in all my life.
I’m the obsessive fan type. I want the album, the bonus tracks, the remixes, the demo versions, everything.
I was that person back in the day who would bore you talking about the Japanese version of the album that has the songs arranged in a different order!
I’m glad to hear a lot of people still buy whole albums. I want bands to keep putting out lots of songs, not just a few “hits.”
