# Dildo interdiction(Do police really bother with this??)

To echo **MsRobyn** , I am in Texas (in fact I live in the Montrose area she mentions) and there’s no prosecution for sex toys of any kind that I’ve ever heard of. They _did_ restrict poppers sometime in the late '80s, but there are any number of petrochemical appendages (mechanical or otherwise) for sale within blocks of my home.
And the local grocers (Montrose Kroger being the most entertaining) will gladly supply anyone with cucumbers and carrots for amusement purposes (a snapshot from Krogering: a guy in front of me in line wearing leather chaps and combat boots, no shirt, but he was wearing tack, leather bracelets with chrome studs and a leather baseball cap, buying just a dozen roses and a bunch of bananas).

I seem to recall hearing a story about the bad old days when such devices were illegal in Canada (many, many years ago, let me assure you). Several had been confiscated and were being displayed in court, and the defense lawyer steadfastly refused to admit that any one of them were obscene. “They’re a representation of a part of the human body,” he said. “The human body can’t be obscene.”
Finally, in frustration, the judge exclaimed, “What if a couple came in here, naked, and fornicated on the evidence table? Would that be obscene?”
The unflappable counselor responded, “No, my lord, that would be contempt of court.”

1. I’ve seen whole daikon at the markets.
2. Daikon at most supermarkets are not sold sliced, but in half or quarter length sections.
3. Okini, Oparu-san.
4. the tip end of a quarter length Daikon would seem to be much more conveniently sized for said employment.
