Except that it was the second song I was trying to get a line on, not the first, which is what you identified. Settle for a low five and one woo?

Stopping short? Wasn’t that the favorite move of George’s dad?

I’m curious to know what rock stations you folks listen to that feature “My Grandfather’s Clock” in the playlist ?!!

“Got a wild mellow lil’ oldie here blastin’ ya back from summer of 1890”

[/corny dj]

I do have a really great recording of it by the Robert Shaw Chorale Men’s Chorus, from the album “With Love from a Chorus”.

_ninety years without stumbling (tick tock tick tock),
his life seconds numbering (tick tock tick tock),
but it stopped – short – never to go again
when the old man died_

**AHunter3** , you have that LP? I listened to it many times on a reel-to-reel tape recording our family had. Wonderful album from the men of the great Shaw Chorale.

Ripped my own MP3s of it, no less. Nothing like doing FileMaker scripts and field defs with “Wait for the Wagon” in six-part harmony in your ears!
